There is only one status LED, as described here: https://kb.arlo.com/642/What-do-the-different-LED-behaviors-on-my-Arlo-camera-mean  That can be blue, amber or off.

The two LEDs immediately above the centerline are the IR LEDs.   When on battery, they'd turn on when a recording is being made in low light.

When on AC, they'd be on all the time in low light (due to the foresight feature, and also CVR if you are subscribed to that).  https://kb.arlo.com/000062053/How-does-the-Foresight-feature-work-on-my-Arlo-camera

I don't think they are supposed to be on 24-7 when on AC power (only in low light).  Note my Ultras are on battery (one is solar-powered), so I haven't confirmed that the IR LEDs are off in normal light with current firmware.

The only way I know of to turn them off is to turn off NightVision.

  1. Are they on during the day, or just at night?
  2. Is the camera AC powered or on battery?

Thank you for your reply StephenB. I just got the 2 pack of the Ultra 2 cameras. I'm  "playing" with them both inside and outside my house and at different times of day and with the different settings I make on the camera. I noticed the two red leds stay on when the charging cord is in place. Are the red leds the infra-red lights for night vision? I would like them to be off to further camouflage the camera.
