Ultra 2 Camera not quite right with original Ultra battery

I installed an Ultra 2 camera with a new but original version battery.

 

Old battery P/N 308-50001-01 China

New P/N 308-50012-01 Taiwan

 

They are the same specs but the old one never showed more than 87% charging and the camera had a lot of trouble going live. The new model battery made the camera work perfectly!

 

In case you're curious, I bought the Ultra2  4-pack from Costco then an add-on camera Ultra from Best Buy and I just used it's battery in the newer camera not really thinking about it.

 

This isn't really a question but comments from the Arlo team or anyone else are welcome!

 

I am posting to possibly help someone else.
