We have our cams set at 100% and highest audio detection; Turned off led light; turned off spotlight....So far the Ultras are very poor. Our Pro2 system cams would detect chimes, birds, water fountain, car headlights or motion lighting, people walking, and trigger all the time at those settings. That's what we want only in 4k! So we drop a grand and get this system. What a waste!!!!!...Have to use old Pro2s in sensitive areas and pray an Ultra 2 got a backup video. Prayers unanswered.
Thin silicone covers not obstructing microphone or anything. Pro2s have a thick cover not obstructing mic either.

There are 3 Ultra2 cams all set to highest detection settings. None of them trigger as well as the Pro2 cams did on any of those same locations. The Ultra2s trigger about 70% less than the Pro2s did. Horrible.
And we moved our 4000 base away from 5000 and it helps with the short videos although we still get an occasional one but not like it was, since they do not sit right next to each other anymore. So I would consider that solved.

Have you tried attempting to swap locations with another ultra 2 camera to see if this occurs in that location as well?
- "And what is up with the rule of 1 min 55 seconds being ignored and we get a lot of 9 second videos, or 31 seconds, or 1 second".
- Did you remove and recreate the rule, reinstall the Arlo app? Does it affect all devices?

Still looking for answers on why the Ultra2s are not sensitive to movement or audio as in older models.

For trouble shooting, have you adjusted the sensitivity value? Are the Ultra cameras maxed out and still missing detections compared to the Pro 2 models?

Have done motion detection test set to highest, audio detection on 5, and motion to 100%. We changed 1 cam to the middle on degree of field view to see if that helps.
