I purchased a Pro 5S 2K camera and an Ultra 2 camera which claims to be 4K, but I'm unable to read a document through either camera.

I want to use to help my parents when I can't be with them.  I wanted them to be able to put a document in front of the camera so I could read it if they were having trouble, but neither camera has sufficient resolution to even get close to reading standard 10 or 12 font.  The text is just a total blur.  I've tried placing the camera very close to the document and moving it away in half-inch increments, but I am unable to find any position in which I can read the document.

Am I missing something?  I would have expected that at 4K I could read a document.

Well, there is also the focus to consider.  Arlo's cameras really aren't designed for what you trying to do.

If you look for document cameras on Amazon or other sites, you'll find much better options. I picked up this one about a year ago, and it's working out well:

It does need to be connected to a PC (you can use it over zoom or similar services).
