Ultra SmartHub VMB5000 Arlo Ultra 2 Wireless Security Camera Arlo Pro 2 Arlo Video Doorbell 2nd Gen

I have the following devices set up for my security system:

- VBM5000 x1
- Ultra 2 camera x2

- Pro 5 camera x1

- doorbell 2k 2ng gen x1

Under the "Arm Away" mode, I set the siren on when camera detects motion. However, I never receive notification about the siren activation and just wondering does Arlo provide this option for notifying the user to be alerted once siren is activated. Because I cannot find any related setting in the app, either android or IOS.

It's strange because I cannot turn the siren off in time when it was a false activation which would be quite annoying to my neighbors. The sirens just keep sounding without notifying myself to take further action.

Have you tried to reset the camera to see if that helps with the siren? You can also uninstall and reinstall the app to see if that resolves the behavior you are seeing as well.

Yes I tried to reset and reconnect the camera but still no such options for the siren notification.

You will get motion notifications for the cameras, but not a special notification for the siren.  With your settings, the siren will sound on every notification when the system is in "Arm Away".

If you go into the default mode settings, there is a setting there that controls how long the siren will sound when it is activated by motion.  The setting range is 1-5 minutes.  So the siren will turn off by itself.  If you are getting a lot of motion alerts from a camera, then personally I think you should just disable the siren for that camera.
