Night vision filter stuck

I've got about 4 of these cameras dotted around the house and I've noticed recently that the night vision filter is getting stuck on a lot of them first thing i the morning.  I can fix it by disabling the camera and rebooting the base station, then on re-enabling the camera its back to normal.  If it happened on one camera I wouldn't think much of it but over the past couple of weeks its occurring more often than I have ever seen it before.  

Anyone else seen this?

Is there any chance that the ambient lighting is still low enough that the camera thinks it should be using night vision?
