Hello, I have the following setup (8 cams in total, 1 hub):
1 x Pack VMS5440 : 1x Smart Hub + 4x Arlo Ultra 2
3 x VMC3040S : Arlo Q+
1 x FB1001-100-EU : Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight
The purpose of my installation is:
A. The 3x Q+ are indoor, to be activated when nobody's home
B. The 4 Ultra 2 are outdoor, to be activated when nobody's home
C. The Floodlight is outdoor, in garden, to be activated every day at sunset until sunrise the next day, 7/7, regardless home physical presence.
(I don't use geofence, I prefer a smartphone sensor script managed under Home Assistant.)
I'm currently able to cope with the Arm Away / StandBy for A & B, both built in modes available through the arlo API.
However, it seems not possible to manage C, i.e. having the floodlight to arm at a specific time or under daylight condition, as, the standby (for example) mode simply disable everything and reset to built in mode...
I can create the schedule under the Custom Mode specifically for the Floodlight but:
* this mode is not available through API
* it means leaving or returning home just reset to Arm Away or Standby,
* my 3x Arlo Q+ are not supported through Custom Mode...
I'm considered removing the flood light from my account and create another dedicated email/arlo account to manage it independantly, but this means i will not be able to attach it to my plan....
Any help or advice ?
Note for the moderators: I'm not requesting help on the third party (Replying to ShayneS), i'm requesting Help for being able to use correctly my Arlo products considering Arlo changed the way they could be managed, and it seems that regression is not a problem for Arlo, while it is for me, the customer. Thanks for letting people in the community at least react and give their opinion on a solution, and if an Arlo operator is saying that's possible, feel free to provide the instructions.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Thomas.

It's best to stick with one discussion thread. I already replied to your other post on the floodlight. The light will only come on after dark, so there is no need for a separate mode if all you want to do is turn off the light during the day.
But disarming it when no one is home is a problem, since that would require another mode.
