I just purchased an Arlo Ultra 2 system. I have updated the software, etc. The problem I have is that due to the construcgtion of my home (cinderblock and metal studs), I get very little camera range. I'm looking for a good way to boost the effectiveness of the system so I can move more cameras outside, where they currently can not get reception to the hub. I've heard of wifi extenders, high gain antennae and / or signal boosters. I have super speed on my wifi, so that's not an issue. With this in mind and knowing the unit I have, are there any suggestions I can use to extend the range? It's pretty limiting as it currently is. TIA.

The Ultras connect to your VMB5000 smarthub's wifi. That wifi cannot be extended, and signal boosters would not help. The smarthub antenna is internal, so replacing it with a high-gain antenna is not a simple task.
If the cameras are close to each other, you could try putting the smarthub in a window (with a line of sight to the cameras). That would overcome the construction limitations. You might need multiple smarthubs to reach all your cameras. If the roof is not metal, then putting the smarthub(s) in the attic is another possible option.
A camera that connects to your home wifi (Pro 5s or Essential Gen 2) would give you some more options. That would include installing one or more outdoor wifi access points.
