I have two cameras in my front yard plus a doorbell. When someone comes up to the house I get a lot of notifications - which is great. However, if we’re unloading groceries or simply talking to neighbors in the yard for example the notifications become very annoying. I don’t need notifications every few seconds. I also have some cheap Eufy cameras that allow me to increase the duration between notifications. It’s a great and simple feature that should be brought to Arlo. I know that I can mute notifications (by the way - getting a notification to tell me notifications are off is overkill) but that turns off all notifications from other parts of the house. No more than 1 notification from each camera every 5 minutes or so would be perfect.

Without a change in settings, my solution has been to create a custom mode that doesn't have rules for cameras in that area. That is, I have "Front off" and "Deck off" modes that I manually select for when we're spending time on the front porch/yard or the back deck.
