They don't generally have agents for pre-sales questions.
Best to just ask your questions here, and get answers from other users.

Here's what I'm trying to find out. Does any of their camera's able to take pictures/motion at NIGHT if I put it INSIDE my house in front of a window pointing towards the street? I had a Samsung, Smart Cam model, SNH-P6410BN that would take take pictures at night in front of a window but their camera business went out of business and they no longer have any kind of support, etc. so i can see what pictures/motion it took at night. All the other camera companies their camera's won't take pictures/motion at night if their camera is up against a window pointing outwards.

The outdoor cameras will not detect motion through window glass. That is because they use a passive infrared (PIR) sensor to detect motion, and that down't penetrate glass (and has a short range anyway).
The indoor models (Essential Indoor VMC2040, VMC2060, and VMC3060) detect motion by examining the video from the cameras. Those will work through window glass and detect motion at much further distances. The challenge at night is that the spotlight (both the visible spotlight and infrared LEDs) will reflect off the glass, and that can result in unusable video. So you'd need the area to be well lit, so the spotlight won't come on. Angling the camera so any reflection doesn't reach the camera lens can also help.

The IT people at arlo should be able to find out what samsung had on their camera's that they dont have so people can put it against window from the inside instead of being outside.

The cameras I mentioned all do have IR LEDs that automatically come on when the cameras record at night,
(They actually don't have visible light spotlights like the outdoor cameras).

FWIW, your Samsung camera also had an IR LED that turned on when the camera was used in the dark. So it is similar to the the Essential Indoor cameras.

When using an indoor camera to monitor the outdoors through a window, go to the camera settings and then Night Vision. Toggle the slider to off to prevent the IR LEDs from ever turning on. No need to ensure a brightly lit exterior although that does help.
