How do activate 7 day free trial

My friends got gave me a hub and two cameras. I’m trying to record local only.  I have it set up per the instructions but still doesn’t work

If this is a old setup and the previous owners have not removed the equipment from their account you will not be able to import them to a new account.

If you have been able to import them and the free trial has expired then you will need to purchase a subscription plan for the cameras to record to the arlo cloud library.

Can you give us more information on how far you got?

1. What base station/smarthub model do you have?  (Look for a VMBxxxx label on the hub)?
2. Is this new equipment, or used?
3. Are the base and cameras onboarded to your Arlo account?
4. Are you able to livestream the cameras?
