Neighbor keep hacking into my Arlo system. I have two screen shots of their Firefox app logged on. Arlo claims military grade protection, not even close. Seems like all neighbors from my apartment complex can easily log in.

Do you have a strong password on both your email and your Arlo account?

Or are you saying they have managed to connect to the smarthub wifi????

You must have an easy password or or they know your password or someone within your household is using Firefox to log into the app. Otherwise, there's no option for them to be able to 'hack' into the system; at least for any regular user.

The same thing is happening with my arlo cameras by a neighbor.  They are more than likely mirroring your password and logging in or have taken control of your device in the background.  I reporting mine to law enforcement and arlo.  They even will delete footage of themselves on my device.

Did you change the relevant passwords?

  • Arlo Account
  • Email Account used for 2-factor authentication
  • Home WiFi Password

Also I suggest doing a malware scan on your PCs (looking for keyboard loggers, etc).

If they can access your cameras, they likely can access to more of your information (and maybe other accounts).
