Hello

I have been able to arm the cameras at 10.30pm in Home mode. But can not find where to disarm them at 6 am in Home mode.

Start by reading these FAQs:

https://kb.arlo.com/000062777/About-Arlo-Routines-Modes-Rules-and-Automations

https://kb.arlo.com/000062942/How-do-I-add-a-Schedule-Automation-to-my-Arlo-system

To use the schedule, you create a schedule as you've already done at 10:30. You then need to create another schedule at 6AM to change mode to, say, Standby. One arms the cameras, the other disarms.

Thanks for helping. I have read the instructions, but have some trouble to understand.

What to do at 6.00 in the morning when the mode shall go back to Home? Make a new Routine?

As I suggested, use Standby which, by default, has no rules for any camera to record (or anything else). Since you seem to be using the new user interface (UI) that uses Feed to view recordings, you can't create a new mode - you have to use the 3 default ones to do whatever you need.

Thanks again. I have one more issue. In Home mode the cameras records on motion and sound during the day regardless if the automation is set between 10pm and 6am. Hopefully the photos can help eventhough in norwegian.

Based on your images, I'm guessing you're using the old user interface (UI) that uses Library to view recordings - is that true? The links I posted earlier were for the new UI that uses Feed to view recordings but near the top are links to the old UI's directions. You might want to check those if needed.

It looks like you have the same mode scheduled twice. Generally, you would schedule one mode to start at a particular time and then schedule a different mode at the second time you want. Thus, you would arm the system at 10:30 PM using, say, Armed (or Arm Away, depending on which UI you're using) and then Disarmed (or Standby) at 6 AM.

The recordings are under the Feed button, see photo. I also have attached the 2 automation rules

Sorry, I think I got mixed up in the translations rather than the actual process. The issue is that you're setting CAMERAS up in your schedule rather than MODES. When setting up your nighttime schedule, remove the cameras and instead use Change Mode to enable (probably) Arm Away. Since by default all cameras are automatically enabled in that mode when the system was set up, all cameras will be active at that time. For the daytime schedule, you've already enable Standby so nothing needs to be changed there.

Ok, I have removed the cameras from Home mode, and added Away mode at 10.30pm in the automation rule. Do the cameras need to included, and if not how do I remove them

I think you're not setting up the night schedule properly yet. See the attached image.

Thanks for your patience. Now I removed the Oppdal 10.30pm and added a new automation, see below.

It would appear that "Borte" is the name of the mode that English would call Arm Away - is that correct? Now that you've made that change, is the system working properly?

That's correct. It changed to Arm Away at 10.30pm last evening, but failed to change to Standby at 6am this morning. I think it was because automation rule was not turned on. At least I am progressing, thank nyou
