Hello all,
I set up a 3-camera system of new Arlo Ultra 2's and I am having a very aggravating time. At random, with no rhyme or reason, one of the 3 cameras will show a message in the app "Your Arlo device appears offline", and I cannot live view it or do anything. When walking in front of the camera, that very same camera that says is "offline", records my motion and the recording is available in the library, so obviously the camera is working fine, and the network connection is working fine. I have reset/restarted the base station multiple times with no success, changed the battery in the camera, re-synced the camera, port forwarded the Arlo devices in my router, placed the base station closer, tried updating to the latest firmware, and factory resetting the entire system and it is the same result every time. The camera still keeps saying its "offline". After a day or so, the message will go away and surprise, surprise, the camera is live-viewable again like nothing happened. Then, some time after, it will randomly select another camera out of the three to show ""Your Arlo device appears offline". I then have to wait a few days for it to fix itself. There is ZERO issues with my network and all other connected devices have strong connection and work fine with no interruptions. I am so tired of the shotty functionality of these cameras, especially for the price. I also tried viewing the "offline" camera through the desktop web portal, and its the same thing as the app; it says its offline but motion and recording works perfectly fine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Try a few things:
1) reboot your router and hub, in that order.
2) reboot the phone and reinstall the app.
3) disable cell service and WiFi, one at a time, to see if "offline" isn't true when connected to one but not the other.
4) try a different browser and maybe a different computer.
