I’m continually getting false notifications on more than one of my cameras.  It’s gotten to the point where I don’t believe any of them.  Constant “vehicle detected”, “animal detected “, “person detected” and even worse “fire detected”.  This is crazy and shouldn’t happen.  The videos every time show nothing, not even wind.  As stated this is not just one camera, it’s most of them.  Chatted with support in the past a few times now, and no solution.  They tell me “if it’s recording a video, it’s a valid notification “?????  No it’s not when the video shows nothing!!!

Would you  mind sending me the following information:

Are you using iOS or Android
Can you send a video of one of the false recordings
Have you tried to change the sensitivity levels

Using iOS, and yes I’ve changed sensitivity levels.  I can lower the levels so much that it picks up nothing, not useful.  The real question that everyone I’ve talked to or chatted with from Arlo and they all seem to ignore is the notification types.  Vehicle, person, Fire detected when there is nothing?

You can either view a video in portrait mode (small screen) and choose to share it (copy the link and post it here) or download it and host it somewhere so you can share the link to it from that service.

All mine ever does is "Motion detected", none of the others.

And my Ultra2 cameras record person's, birds and other animals but NO cars.

 

I also have CVR on one camera.

Get used to it, I have been fighting this kind of thing for the fifth year now.  Every summer we get woke up every night 2 or 3 times because it keeps calling a moth a person.  For 4 years they've had me sending them the videos with the ticket and through e-mail to the team and it's done no good.  Did the donate video more than 100 times and now this year that damned moth is being called a possible fire.  Now that's the kind of notification you need in the middle of the night.  Called support today and what do I get "could you send us copies of the videos"  seriously 4 years worth and 100 donates and your people can't fix the issue, my great grandson who's 5 can see it and tell it's a moth.  If they can't fix the program that determines what it is before sending a notification in 5 years they aren't qualified for their job period.  IMO
