Can't add second hand purchased devices

I purchased second hand some devices: 

1x Arlo Base VMB5000
3x Arlo Ultra 2 VMC5040

1x Arlo Base VMB4000
3x Arlo Pro 2 VMC4030P
1x Arlo doorbell AVD2001

The seller deleted bases and cams from his account. Still I can't add them to my account. I've got a written statement from the seller declaring he sold the devices to me and he deleted base and cams from his account. Please advise?

Are you adding the base/hub first? That's needed. What are the LEDs on the two when first turned on (once they finish booting)? The hub should have a solid blue LED and the base should have green power and Internet LEDs with a solid amber Camera LED.

Yes, added base first. LED 5000 is solid blue, 4000 blinking middle LED

@jguerdat: thanks for your help. Solved by: adding them with the phone-app, not with the webbrowser.
