Hi,
I'm trying to create an automation that would disable (motion detection of) one camera from sunrise till sunset.
Since there's no "disable" camera in schedule > actions, what I did is: action @ sunrise > customize device > that camera > motion detection > lowest value (1).
That automation does fire and I see that camera has 1% motion detection in devices > camera > default mode settings.
Unfortunately, even with the value of "lowest" (1% is minimum) camera still detects motion and triggers notifications and the rest.
Note: I have set for all my cameras: device rules for mode > camera audio > OFF.
p.s.1
This all would be possible if we could define custom modes (to have more than only 3 default ones).
p.s.2
Have 3 Utra2 cameras with BaseStation. All the latest versions and firmwares...

Are you using all three modes now?
If you aren't using Armed Home (for example), you can customize it to only have rules for the 2 cameras you want to keep active. Then use the scheduling mechanism to switch to Armed Home at Sunrise, and then switch to Armed Away at sunset.

Hi,
Yes, using all 3. Need 4/5 🙂
Or, need what I described to work.
