How can one reset the camera that is showing to be offline when we are 500km away from it?

Install a smart plug.

If it's the camera, then you basically can't. By definition "offline" means the Arlo Cloud can't communicate with it.
If the base is offline, then all the cameras connected to it will also be offline. Assuming the internet is up, a smart switch on the base will let you power-cycle it remotely, which should bring it back to life.

Two of the three cameras work as they should.
I have removed the problem camera and re-installed as directed. It works for a couple of hours, but then goes offline again. I can reset it when at home but you are telling me I am SOL when not at home. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a security camera.

Yes. Keep in mind that I don't work for Arlo...
"Offline" means that Arlo can't communicate with the camera. So there is nothing you can do to fix that remotely, since you can't send it any commands.
