The Solar panel receives about 3 hours of direct sunlight.
‘However the battery only shows a 5% recharge when battery is at 60% capacity.
Question is; I would have thought that 3 hours would be enough to bring battery back up to around 85% or so.
‘Battery just does not change enough and goes flat within a couple of days.
Do I need a larger Solar panel as 3 hours of sunlight is all I can receive?

Solar panels will not fast charge a battery only trickle charge. They are really meant to keep the camera fully charged, so it may take a few days to raise the battery charge. Also consider the camera usage, the more often it detects motion the more the battery goes flat.
