I have an Arlo Ultra system and I would like to add a new Arlo Ultra 2 camera. It is compatible? Can I connect Ultra 2 camera directly to my WiFi and to manage it via my Arlo Ultra system? I have a spot where I want to install camera but the range of Arlo Ultra base is not enough. Instead I have good WiFi signal there. Would work in this way?

The Ultra 2 still only connects to the hub but it claims to have better connection to the hub. I don't have one so can't comment on that claim. The Pro 4 coming out in 2k can connect to wifi or hub. The essential cams can also but are 1080p.

So Arlo Pro 4 would be the answer for me. Anyone knows if I can integrate a Pro 4 add-on camera with an Ultra system via WiFi? I mean to record images on sd-card from Ultra SmartHub but Pro 4 camera to be connected to WiFi.

Local recordings only occur for cameras synced to the hub. Those connected to WiFi would need a subscription for cloud recordings.
