Does the Arlo Ultra 2 require WiFi connection to a 2.4GHz band, or is it able to connect to 5.0GHz?
If only able to connect to 2.4GHz, if I add a Base Station that is hardwired to my router, would that then solve/eliminate the issue of having to connect to the 2.4GHz band?
Thanks!

The Ultra 2 can only connect to a base station (using a closed wifi system) - it never connects to your home wifi.
The camera itself can connect to the base using 5 Ghz - but the only base that supports 5 Ghz is the VMB5000 smarthub.
5 gHz has a significantly shorter range the 2.4 gHz - so generally speaking outdoor cameras will perform better using 2.4 gHz.

Can you explain what "the issue" is - that is, what problem you have having?
