Can you safely and effectively use the Arlo 8-ft. Indoor Magnetic Charging Cable (Item No. VMA5000C-100NAS) to safely and effectively continuously charge your outdoor mounted Ultra 2 camera if the power adapter is plugged into an inside/indoor outlet?
After reading many responses in differing areas of the community, it seems that the OUTDOOR charging cable has a power adapter made to be plugged into an outdoor outlet. So if the INDOOR power adapter of the indoor charging cable is plugged into an indoor outlet, will not the Arlo 8-ft. Indoor Magnetic Charging Cable Item (No. VMA5000C-100NAS) safely and effectively continuously charge an outdoor mounted Ultra 2 camera?

Don't forget about weatherproofing. The indoor adapter is not waterproof. The cable may not stand up to outdoor environments, either.

If the indoor adapter is plugged into an inside power outlet, the adapter is not subject to water or any of the elements.

Depending on the seal the cable runs through, that likely would be fine. The cable issue remains although one would think it would be adequate for some time, barring gnawing squirrels..
