Arlo 2 will not charge

Camera was taken offline due to multiple images being produced while on vacation. Device was turned off and when we returned home camera will not charge.  It was was a solar charger, can not get battery housing to open and charges in dead.  Item  will not charge and can not be put back on line

Was this a problem before?  It can be hard to open - sometimes shaking it (carefully) can get it loose.

Applying silicone grease to the O-ring can solve it.

As far as the dead battery goes, I suggest looking inside the compartment next, as it'd be useful to see if water somehow got in.
