Hi Arlo management and technical personnel,
Seriously you do not understand how dysfunctional and challenging it is to running your software?
I have your cameras for almost 4 years hoping for software updates and upgrade for nothing.
Recently tested TP-Link cameras which are high better, functional and user friendly than your cameras.
I will be sharing my review in other forums as well since what you project it is not necessarily what the client gets.
Best Regards,
GD

Hi,
I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the Arlo product. If you would like to explain more what behavior you are seeing with the app or cameras, I would be more then happy to help.

Hi,
Thanks for replying. Where to begin:
1. The Cameras take ages to connect every time i try to open them. And this goes for all the cameras indoor, outdoor irrespective if they are plugged in or on batteries.
2. The software and the configurations are a mess. You can arm an individual camera if you want.
3. Then the rules on when they go on and off are complicated and even when deployed most of the times they are not implemented in all the cameras.
4. I could go on and on as it is unacceptable for cameras of this value to have this dysfunctionality.
I hope this help but certainly you have lost to my understanding another client.
Best
G

Are you seeing the latency on the app or a web browser?
Have you went through these steps to make sure the modes and rules are set up correctly?

Hi,
Thank you for your message.Seriously? To all the questions I posed that’s the response?
Yes I have gone through but that’s the problem. I shouldn’t need to. I should be able to arm and disarm the cameras individually if I need.
in your previous software version it was better but after your upgrade it was a mess.
if as a user you don’t see what I am saying the there is no point analysing it and pointing me to instructions.
Up to you how you want to handle your customers because certainly you lost at least one.
Best

The new UI does not have that option as of yet. However, custom modes is available to some users in some regions but is not available to everyone as of yet. We are hoping to have it available to everyone in the future.
