Cooperation ARLO and Homekit

One of my ARLO Pro 3 cameras is connected to Apple Homekit and set in ARLO’s Smart Object detection to react and notify only on persons. The other possibilities are disabled.

Nevertheless Homekit notifies me of other movements, e.g. cats, and sends a notification to my iPhone.

My idea was to let Homekit switch on lights automatically should a persons be detected but my neighbors cats, frequent visitors to my garden, are causing trouble.

 

Any chance there will be a better match between Homekit and ARLO in the future?
