Hi all, hope you can help.  I live in Mauritius, sadly Arlo doesn’t support cloud here.  I have configured my local telco router with forwarding values for Home Hub, this is not a stable condition as the port range changes requiring manual intervention to replace the old values.  Has anyone had success using a range of ports instead eg’ 18001-18999 ?  Many thanks in advance (note not a network expert sorry if my Q is dumb !)

Arlo shouldn't be changing the port.  Is it possible that the local base IP address is changing?  It's best to reserve an IP address for it in the router settings (almost all routers have a way to do this).

One thing you could try is putting the smarthub into the router "DMZ".  Then all incoming connections will be routed to the smarthub, so no need to forward specific ports in the router.

Thank you Stephen, will take a look at DMZ option.
