Hi,
New cameras and doorbells from arlo don't have the 7 days free recording anymore, which makes the subscription mandatory. But it is so expensive when I compare it to competitors.
I was wondering if arlo will also adapt their pricing plans to match the current market evolution?
When I look at nest aware, I see that for 100 euro per year I can
- record up to 10 cameras (arlo offers only up to 5)
- for 100 euro per year (arlo is 8.99*12= 107.88 euro for max 5 cameras)
- with 10 days continous recording (arlo asks on top of the premium subscription extra money for each camera that needs CVS)
- with 60 days event based recording (arlo only offers 30 days)
It becomes difficult to invest in arlo hardware if the subscriptions stay priced so high.
