I placed an Arlo Flood Light above my garage because trespassers are not clearly seen at night using the Arlo camera by its self. The Flood Light doesn’t seem to give off enough light to illuminate the area any better. What gives?

it was dark before I installed the light and it’s still dark!

The light gives off 400 lumens - the equivalent of a 50 wt incandescent bulb.

How large is the area you want to light?  Is the light going on when the recording is made?

Where is the placement of light vs camera....

have several light and they do add quite a bit of light to the picture.

is the light set on spot vs flood?

is the intensity level of the light up?
