I have base station for cameras. Do I still need to use Arlo Bridge that comes with Security Light?

Ok I have 5 Arlo pro 2 cameras already, I bought a Arlo motion light, I installed light and hub that came with it. Says both are working fine, but light only comes on when I open app and click the on button...after 5 minutes light goes off and won’t come back on unless I use app
Since I have base station for cameras do I still need to use hub that came with light?
I have latest firmware also.

Yes you do. The camera base won't connect to the light.
