If you add a light will it extend the time recorded from a camera? For instance... If the light is at the end of a drive and a car pulls up, will the camera record when the light senses motion and keep recording when the camera senses motion or does it cause a delay as the camera first needs to upload the clip from the trigger from the light.

While you can use the light to start the camera OR the camera to start the light., it is still controlled by the MODE/RULES you are using to arm them.  There is no additional time.

( but both light and camera will reset and restart the record cycle after a pause if motion continues )
