streaming issues with shared user

I invited my spouse to the Alro app. When opening up the app it shows recordings number, but they never show the recordings. He’s getting the banner notifications however and when I click on them, it opens the app and sometimes I can view that video from the notice, but the live camera feeds aren’t even showing up on his app. I’ve tried updating phone, restarting. Removing and re-downloading and more restarts, logging in online, but nothing is working. This is an Arlo essential spotlight series.

Is he selecting the Home pull-down menu at the top and clicking on the bottom choice? Each user gets a default Home location so he would need to select yours. I suggest renaming Home to make it obvious. I'm not sure how a user that is viewing shared cameras is supposed to work (never tried it myself) but normally he would need to select your Home to be able to see the cameras and recordings. It's certainly possible that clicking on the notification should take him to the correct video but I don't know that.

 

@JamesC , @ShayneS , @BrookeN can you verify whether clicking on the notifications should take him directly to the video?

The notifications take him straight to the app but he can’t see anything.

WHen the app has opened, have him click on Home to change to yours, as I mentioned above. Does the app open to Dashboard or Feed when it first opens?
