Recently had a power cut but not sure if that was the cause since we've had those before. I find the system recovers quite well from outages. I have the app on my S23Ultra and my wife logs in with her S22. For many years since install no issues. Recently added doorbell...great!

And then about 3 days after the power outage

The Issue: The S22 couldn't retrieve the stored videos on the hub. My s23 could. Reinstalled the app on the s22 no improvement. Then one day later, the same with my s23U. We could watch live on both phones. I was receiving alerts each time a car drove by...but cant see the recording.  Began the process of researching the Arlo community and YouTube fixes. Don't want to reset and start all over with four cameras its a pain, well sort of.

Removed the 64GB micro sim from the hub and was able to view all the stored videos going back several weeks. Hmmmmm.... By this time was reading online about incompatibility with Samsung Galaxy phones...red herrings?

Security company online offered to assist and we went through the process of removing power and checking for latest updates on the app. All seemed fine there, but still cant see the recordings.

Finally he suggested the Arlo auto help fixing thing which I was really trying to avoid but...

Got as far as the Factory reset step...No!!!  Slogged on. began to reinstall each camera and then discovered something. My two Essential spotlight cameras VMC 2230 (sync button on bottom and flat profile, not the curved type) came online and there they were, the recordings back on the Samsung phones.

The other cameras are ultra 2. You have to remove the batteries for the synch process to occur in those. To date they are still not detected by the system. I don't think this has any thing to do with Samsung phones, even though my s23Ultra told me there was a bug in the Arlo App! (Maybe there is with the Ultra 2 camera, but that is as far as I have got).

One more, that door bell. It wont scan the bar coded thingy so that's one more bridge to cross.

When its working, the Arlo camera system it great and I love it. But I feel too much like a technical administrator of a software company sometimes. I don't know how some people get on with little or no skill. Having said that, the power off wait for 10, then the factory reset seems to be a part solution. My next step is to factory reset those Ultra 2 cameras and that doorbell. By the way, I always remove the cameras and bring them inside to the base station to get good signal strength. Which is why I tried to avoid the factory reset. I hope this was some help to you. Don't throw away your Samsung Galaxy yet!
