Every time I open the app it wants me to login to my apple account.

Why does the ARLO app need that login?

I am not seeing that on my iPhone.  I do need to log into the Arlo app (using the Arlo credentials).  That is set up to  use Face ID on my phone.

I do not login to my apple account as a rule. Try logging out of your apple account and then opening the Arlo secure app.
thanks

I don't either.  Can you post a screen shot?

The Arlo app loads and then within a second the Apple login.

I just cancel and go on.

Thank you

I do not have my Arlo set up for face id.

Mine is, which I guess could make a difference.

You can download your recordings to iCloud - that is the only thing I can think of that might require your Apple Id.

It didn't used to ask me.  I'm not sure which update changed but something in your app is requesting something requiring a login.  It works fine when I cancel but it is annoying not the less.

No.  This is a user-to-user forum and I don't work for Arlo.

My bad.  I should have said the Arlo app.

I do appreciate your input.  It certainly is

weird that it wants an Apple login for me.

Thank you again.

I have the same issue. Were you ever able to resolve this?

FWIW, I don't see that on my own iPhone.

Though I do use Face ID, and I guess that could mask it.

If you go into Apple Settings->iCloud, is the Arlo App enabled to access iCloud storage?  (press "See All" next to "Saved to iCloud")?

Not yet, still just press cancel.

I found the setting you are talking about but it made no difference.  Thanks
