activity zones work any more? Notifications are overwhelming

Just upgraded and NOTIFICATIONS are a huge problem...doesn't seem that activity zones are working so we get seperate motion and audio notifications on every car that comes by which is huge since the Pro 5s has a wider field of vision....so many notifications that you can't mute continually....and emails on both.....

 

PLUS, does the product manager realize that with CarPlay being so widely used that these alerts are popping up on the car every time a car drives by or whatever?   

 

A terrible problem that we did not anticipate with the upgrade...Its like we have sharper cameras but beyond that it looks like several steps back...regrettably we upgraded on trust that the products and services would have advanced but in many ways it regressed and its looks like despite complaints going back to 2019 by the community, Arlo product management has ignored them..

Dleggio,

 

While activity zones typically filter motion from being detected outside the zone, this may not always work with 100% efficiency depending on the location of the camera and the surrounding environment.

 

If you change the angle of the camera or relocate, does that alleviate the false detections?
