We purchased the door bell unit in December 2021 and installed it late last year. All it seems to do, is leave a motion  activation note on our iPad every time we past in front if it. We do not get any video record as we get with our existing ARLO cameras.

The doorbell requires a paid subscription plan to use arlo cloud storage. You should have live viewing though.

 

 The earlier camera models were bundled with a 7days free cloud plan that does not expire.
