What are Arlo “smart filters” in regards to Activity Zones?

In the article “What are Arlo Activity Zones and how do I create them? - Arlo Secure 4.0”, the section “How do Activity Zones affect video recording?” mentions Smart filters, saying: “If Smart filters are enabled, the video will also be analyzed to determine what filters are applicable. Videos that are within the Activity Zones and pass the filters will be saved in your Feed, and a notification will be sent, depending on your Modes and Rules setup.” The article doesn’t define smart filters or a link to another article that explains them. What are they?

Look in Settings, Home, Smart Notifications.

I see, Arlo must have meant Smart Notifications/Smart Notification Settings. Thanks.
