Verisure compulsory monthly fees

I hv a quote for installation of an arlo alarm system ang it is reasonable. But what is not reasonable is that they won't fit the system unless i take out a contract with them for about £39 per month. The sales person says i hv the option to cancel it after 6months. But need 3month notice. So its actually 9months.
All I'd like is cloud storage. Which is reasonable charge.
Can i get anyone else to do this for me. I'm afraid, I'm new to alarms n definitely not able to fit anything myself.

What are they are trying to charge you aside from installation since the Arlo Secure subscription is only 10 US dollars a month for unlimited cams, not sure what that transfers to your currency. This gives you cloud recording storage and other options, and you sign up yourself in your Arlo account after the 3 month trial on newer models.  Arlo is not a monitored system just alerts to you.
