So, Sonos CEO just resigned over the glitchy app. Is it also the time for leadership change at Arlo? The list of issues is long, to name a few:

- glitchy app that never seems to deliver what it's supposed to;

- poor app testing (if at all) leading to problems, such as local storage not working, glitches here and there;

- poor record of fixing issues within the app with users waiting for months for issues to be addressed;

- progressive and noticeable reduction in the quality of video footage;

- spectacular fiasco with EOL;

recent price increases of subscription in US;

- dubious new rules about how much you can record before you'll be invited to use CVR;

- Pro 5 problems still not resolved nearly a year after they were first reported;

- customer support unavailable unless you have a subscription, and even then being unhelpful and lacking knowledge;

- Arlo HD, Pro and Pro 2 problems with backend sync;

- users unable to cancel subscription;

- users still being charged when cancelled subscription;

- lack of clear direction in general with new rules/policies being introduced to only then them being retracted;

- lack of innovation and new features in the app - it's the same stuff that is repackaged as 'exciting new features'

Can’t turn off camera monitoring within mode selection.

can’t adjust motion or sound sensitivity within mode selection.

No ability to create custom modes, limited to the three buttons on the system panel.

No ability to manage the library of recordings to bulk erase or download.

- can't switch off 5 GHz WiFi even though none of my cameras are using it - it just sits there and broadcasts

- inability to choose a WiFi channel when living in a WiFi congested area

- can't adjust video footage parameters like frames per second, resolution (good if you live in an area that offers low broadband speeds or high broadband speed, for example even when recording locally!)

- can't get access to logs!

- can't pause 'protection' for a fixed amount of time (for example when sweeping the yard)

- can't preview who's at the door before answering a video doorbell call (seriously?)

- a number of useful features retracted for no apparent reason (playing sound from chimes to simulate presence)

- can't control firmware upgrades and so being forced to accept even glitchy firmware making the system inoperable for periods of time

- server issues (for example, doorbell not syncing or specific modes coming on severely delayed - sometimes even 12 minutes!)
