Based solely on this absolute garbage piece of software, I will never buy Arlo again.
It egularly just disconnects from devices, saying. They're "offline" (they're not).if a device battery goes low, and I replace it, it won't update immediately. It will just stay stuck on "Your devices battery appears to be low". And there is no way to force a refresh.
So the device is defunct until the APP decides, oh ok, I think I'll update the device status. Meanwhile, my security is at risk while it figures out what the F it's doing.
Never again.

I understand that the camera is showing offline on the app, but is working as expected. Please try the step I suggested.

I want to apologize for the frustration you are having with your cameras. Can you provide more information on what camera you are seeing this behavior on and I would be more than happy to look into this further.

Hi BrookeN
I have Arlo Pro 2 cameras. It happens randomly across all 5 cameras, there's no pattern.
The worst is the low battery situation where it doesn't reconnect after replacing the battery (or at least, the camera IS connected to the base station, but the app shows it as being dead)

Your security is at risk because you bought those cameras like 8 years ago. I sincerely can't believe you are complaining about Arlo when they delivered you a product that was exposed to the elements and lasted 8 years! Like I'm super pissed at Arlo. But have some gratitude.

Now do you want some assistance or do you just want to vent? All the good people in here will help you. A lot of us are disgruntled Arlo customers too. But you are being crazy about a $100 camera that came out in 2017. So if you want some real some guidance, tell us your situation and what specifically bothers you and/or want your cameras to do and we will try to help.

Remove one Pro 2 from the account and then add it back on. It should resolve the behavior you are seeing with them showing offline.

Cameras are working just fine, it's the app that's the problem.

I don't know what's unclear. The cameras are working fine. The app is useless and keeps disconnecting.

And I'm not being confrontational. I think it's great that your cameras lasted for that long. If you stood outside in the same place for 8 years, you'd age considerably. So you got good value for money with those cameras. Now for the app, I feel your pain. I think developers do that that to justify their existence and it's unnecessary. But if they didn't change things, then we'd complain too. So it's a neverending struggle.
