I have seen similar posts that are marked resolved that I can’t reply to. The patch didn’t resolve my issue.

I got a new phone and was able to authenticate it using my iPad, but the following Add Trusted Device screen returns the red error message every time, “There was a problem trusting this device. Try a…”

I have rebooted the base, removed the old phone from trusted devices, authenticated with my iPad and email, logged out and back in. Nothing works.

I can get access to my cameras by selecting Don’t Trust, but when I log in the next time I have to authenticate all over again.

Please assist.

Hi James, i am having the same issue - quite frustrating.
Would you mind reaching out to me as well?
Or posting the solution?

Thanks!

Some users have reported success by simply uninstalling and reinstalling the Arlo Secure mobile app. For others, following the steps here were successfully: https://community.arlo.com/t5/Arlo/Add-trusted-device-on-new-iPhone-Issue-Resolved-Workaround/m-p/18...
