DEVELOPER PLEASE FIX!  When logging in on the web site recently, I was prompted to upgrade to the new platform recently rolled out. Upgrade messages always scare a person into upgrading. After upgrading, I realized that ESSENTIAL functionality of the app was removed altogether. I already wrote to Arlo and spoke to them on the phone, case numbers 44603373 and then 44603149. Developer: have you ever thought that the User might have more than one home or more than one location? Have you ever imagined that at one given location, the User might not want all the cameras to do the same thing? Previously on the app, there was a page called Modes. On that page, the User could add custom Modes — where each custom Mode could do custom things for whatever cameras the User selected. Furthermore, multiple Modes could be active or disarmed at the same time. Therefore, I could have some of my cameras at Location A doing one thing, some of my cameras at Location A doing another thing, my cameras at Location B doing another thing, and so on. I could quickly launch the app and choose whether modes I need to choose quickly. Please bring back the old interface. Configure Modes: Name Mode A>>Select which cameras apply, regardless of where they are in the world and do not require all cameras at one location or Smarthub to be lumped together>>Select Rules for those Cameras which may not be the same for each camera; Mode B>>same, and so on. I refuse to reconfigure all my cameras and rules to suit the new interface which was written by a person or a team that did not think this through correctly.  I am a loyal ARLO user for many years paying monthly and now my security is diminished. All my cameras from 5 different locations are lumped together in one location called Home, so therefore I have my cameras inside my house going off and alerting me because if I put them on standby, then all the cameras in the other four locations go on standby!  This is security, is it not? Sorry, I can’t be at all 5 locations at the same time to create 5 locations in real time and set rules for each; and no, I am not going to delete the cameras from the lump sum and individually add them back later and set rules for each, which in any case does not give me the flexibility that the old user interface had. PLEASE CAREFULLY READ WHAT I HAVE STATED AND FIX THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Thank you. Sincerely, Loyal Subscriber

No one's going to read your wall of text (Please add paragraphs/newlines.), but be assured that everything you're saying has been stated a thousand times over more than a year, and we've seen no action on their part.

Someone will be up here momentarily to tell you that they've admitted they were wrong and are working on a solution, but no one really believes that.

It’s not a college essay. And I’m aware Arlo has claimed they are working on it. The more feedback the likelier it’ll happen sooner.

Have it your way.  It's a huge block of text.  It's not user-friendly.
