Since the app updated, the "Standby" mode does not activate. Consequently, cameras are constantly on. Would like to resolve this easily if possible.

Are you using a "friend" account?  Or are you using the primary account?

Are you saying that when you press the Standby icon on the dashboard screen, the icon does not turn green?

If it does turn green, are you seeing the transistion to Standby mode showing up in the feed?

 

Or are you instead saying that the system is changing to Standby, but is still detecting motion?

Standby does go green, and does show up in the Feed. But still motion is detected.

Did you double-check that that there are no camera rules in the standby mode?

Hi @catwatcher 

 

I see you have some rules set to send a notification and record for motion while in standby mode. Can you double check these rules are set correctly for the desired cameras.

Fantastic, issue solved! You are correct.  The rules in Standby setting allowed for camera activation and notification.  Thank you much!
