So a problem I’ve had for a long time is inability to disable our Arlo VDB in the iOS Arlo Secure mobile app without modifying the Mode it’s in (Standby). There is no Pause button or some such like Ring had years ago. The other issue is that my wife can’t do it either since she is a Shared Account on our main account. Shared Accounts don’t have true joint admin capabilities like modifying Modes. These are both deficiencies that have bothered me with Arlo for years now. She has to log into the app as me to temporarily disable the motion detection on the VDB in the Mode setting to sit on the porch.

We do have this in with our development team as a feature request. If there is any changes or updates, I will reach out to the community.

Note she can just log in as you all the time. Arlo didn't allow multiple login in the past, but that changed a couple years ago.

@StephenB That won't screw up geofencing rules in place for mode changes?

If you switch to one account, you'd want to delete her phone from the available geofencing devices in your account first. Then have her add it back in your account the first time she logs in. If you specify specific devices in your current geofencing, you'd want to make sure those devices are still in place after she does that.
