Reverse out Pro 5 upgrade

Does anyone know how to reverse out the upgrade for Arlo Pro 5?

I don't have a Pro 5 cam, I have Pro 2's, but Arlo Support told me to upgrade to try and solve a recording issue. This upgrade did not fix the issue, plus I lost some features like, there is no Utilities > Camera positioning and cannot remove old phones from Automations. What got upgraded? How does it know to go into this 'mode'? Other people with version 4.3 don't suffer the same.

Do I need to delete my Arlo account and set up  another one? (providing this new mode setting is stored in the account). I tried deleting the App, but it knew my details without me logging in when I installed it again...

I tried a new install of App on iPad and that went into the same mode, so it must be controlled from the cloud account?

No, you’re stuck with the new interface, arlo is forcing new accounts to the new interface.

So, it is something they are doing from Cloud end and makes the App run in a different mode?

I guess everyone will be forced down that route at some point, as it would save maintaining 2 lots of code.

The web interface on my.arlo.com does have the Utilities > Camera Positioning. Do you know if that feature will be added to the new App mode?

Arlo has historically always been vague about their app improvement plans and   schedule.
