Replace the smartphone on the user with grant access

Hello,

 

I have set up a second user on my Arlo camera system with grant access. The user has been functioning correctly, including geofencing and all other features.

 

However, the second user has recently acquired a new smartphone. Unfortunately, Arlo continues to recognise only the old smartphone.

 

Logging out of the old smartphone and logging in to the new one (both iOS devices) has not resolved this issue.

 

I have attempted to cancel the user from grant access and then re-add them, but this has not been effective.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

Thanks for the reply. Managed to add the new smartphone by accepting the invitation from another device (Windows) as a first ste. Only afterwards logged in from the smartphone.

Have you tried the email authentication? There's a link under the initial "click here" to use that method.

Are you not getting the email?  

Or does the code not work?

I get the email, login again from the  new smartphone, but then the new smartphone does not show up in the list of enabled devices for geofencing. Only the old device is there.

Hi @MLP_ 

 

Can you try logging into the grated users account and go to Settings->Privacy Center->Account->Available Geofence Devices and remove the device with the red minus symbol.
