Since the recent Arlo app update - the one with that white strip at the top in the landscape mode, which, by the way, is very obstructive, especially that playing a video in landscape mode is for a reason, i.e. to see the entire screen in bigger format - it looks like there's a grey filter on while the video is playing. One can notice that because when the video stops playing that the brightness of the video and the colours improve: brightness increases and colours become more vivid. Another way to describe it is as if someone used an overlay. This is particularly annoying when one's phone's brightness is dimmed at night. Can this be addressed in the next app update please? (Attached is the example - screenshot of when a recording is being played and another before/after it stops playing). And no, it's not my phone's brightness.

I am having the same problem, but not only with the latest app update. It been a problem for a long time. (android phone).

It is most noticeable in full screen playback of night vision recordings in both black and white or color.

Playback on a pc does not have the problem.

Night vision playback with the app is so bad even with max screen brightness that I have to use a PC.

Glad to hear it's not just me, and yes, this could have been an issue earlier, but I only noticed it recently. I too have an android phone.

Of course, the list with these kinds of issues is getting longer, isn't it, but I suppose Arlo have more pressing issues to address, such as the pro 5 fiasco and the port forwarding issue on the iPhone etc.
