I locked in the price I've been paying as loyal customer for 3+ years now at 59.99/year but when I went to renew just now it is advertising 95.88/year. I'm experiencing medical and financial crises and can't afford to pay this increase. Further, this is a 62% increase. Your cost may have increased but not by 62% in one year. This service is nice to have but is less of a requirement in my case. However I'm sure there are others that rely on this to be safe in their troubled communities, so you have possibly put them at risk if they cannot afford your new prices.
 
I don't need or want any new features, just the same plan I locked in with the same old features. If you do not honor the locked in price then I will be reaching out to consumer protection agencies since this is likely breaking consumer protection laws. Yes, even in this country, consumers have protections.
 
If you're not going to honor the price lock at least provide a one-time promo code so I can have some security for now. Thank you.

I am not sure what you mean by price lock, were you told by someone that it would be the same price every year? As we do not have any price lock guarantee here at Arlo. The new price change did go into effect on the 1st of January. I can get you in touch with customer support if you would like and you can let them know your concerns. If you would like to do that can you please dm me a callback number as well as a good time to call. That way I can have support look into this further. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.If you don't see it, then go into your profile settings and select preferences, then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.
