It seems that my grandfathered plan of the free 7 day cloud subscription has disappeared. Any idea on this or why i my arlo pro 2's dont record.

If you can make a manual recording while live streaming and it shows up in the library/feed then you still have cloud storage working.

 

The problem might be related to the camera needing a reset. Remove camera battery for 10sec to reset.

 

Check the base station mode is set correctly, power cycle base station as a start.

I lost 7 day storage on my Pro 2 cameras as well.  Did you get it back?

New, updated information is now available regarding the EoL policy. These changes will allow Arlo legacy users who currently have 7-day storage service to continue receiving that service, uninterrupted.

That updated information doesn't help.  My Pro 2 cameras were active and my 7-day recordings recently disappeared.  When I try "customer support" through the app the only automated response I can get is that I need to sign up for a subscription.  I had 7-day storage; and now I don't.

Is there videos within the library? Are modes and rules set up within the app?

This morning, my library is back, at least for December.  Nothing from the end of November.   One of my troubleshooting things was to unplug the base station.  After doing that, I can't get one of my cameras back online.  It's powered and I've tried resetting it a number of times.
