My feed takes forever to load now. Did something recently change? I tried deleting and reinstalling the app. No change. When i want to watch my feed, it takes a long time to update my feed before i can use it to see any recordings. Extremely frustrating.

I copied and pasted the above directly from another discussion because despite the discussion stating the issue is resolved and a solution is available, there’s literally no solution to follow to try to resolve this problem.

@ronsmith7144 Does the same occur over mobile data or any other hand helps devices by chance?

Yes.

@ShayneS I've been seeing this recently, too. Happens on both Android and Chrome. It happened a week or so ago but cleared up quickly. It's been happening for the past couple of days now with no resolution.  I also note that when first opening the app the Feed counter at the bottom takes a long time to load, too, but waiting for that to load doesn't affect how long it takes when I then go into Feed.

I'm having this issue too for the last week or so. Tried again just now also. I have the latest iOS app version 6.5.2 (14800) released 10/13/25 and have two Locations and the Feeds on both have been taking 40 seconds or more to load. It doesn't matter if my iPhone is on my home Wifi or cellular its the same. It's just black in the Feed area then finally a little rotating circle after ~25 seconds (loading icon?) and finally the feed after 10 seconds or more.

FWIW it was quicker for the feeds in the web portal using Chrome about 10-20 seconds to come up but both Feeds in the web version had the attached Error message which the app didn't have.

Are we referencing the "feed" section or the dashboard?

On Android it is getting better. It was horrible the past few days. Now it's tolerable.

Yes.

It seems like it’s improving today but the last week it’s been terrible.

I have 2 systems.

Only one of them was misbehaving.

Accessing them both from the same device.

I wanted to kill myself the other day waiting. It was so bad.

Please don’t do that!  But yes it was indeed terrible.

"Feed" section of both mobile app for those locations and "Feed" section in the web equivalent. However, tonight it seems better and that error message I posted which was in the top of the "Feed" section on the web page is gone.

You all are so nice in here. I bet the people in the Ring Forums would send me razor blades. Have a pleasant evening!

Since sometime yesterday my Feed is loading normally. However, it has done this in the past - long time to load, normal time and then back to long time. I kinda suspect a backend issue relating to locating my videos but can't be sure. It's not the app...

Also, the number displayed on the Feed button at the bottom when first logging in to Dashboard can also take a long time to load.

Out of curiosity, where are you? My Feed has been working properly for a few days now. However, I have seen, in the past, where it worked properly and then reverted back to taking a long time to load so...

Location isn’t the issue.  I have two different systems both upload to the cloud.  One functions fine the other is not.  Currently, as of the writing of this reply it’s working fine.  Both locations have plenty of upload and download bandwidth with low latency.

The reason I asked was to see if somehow a different region's servers from mine may be causing the issue.
