Ok, I have been trying to set up this security system since Christmas and I’m still not there. I appreciate the assistance & have checked the knowledge base for some answers but what I’m told should be there is not there.

 

  1. I’m trying to grant access to a couple of people so more than one person can view the system at the same time but when I hit the settings at my.arlo.com there isn’t an “account” button to click to get to “add” or “grant access” as outlined at (sorry HTML can not be posted)
  2. On the feed several old images remain although I have deleted them several times. This happens on both the mobile app as well as the my.arlo.com site. At the my.arlo.com site each time I attempt to delete these old images I get an error message without explanation or how to correct. I’m simply told “an error has occurred”. How can I change/correct this issue.
  3. I continue to get 10-20 video snippets of the same event rather than one snippet of that event up to 5 minutes as is the setting I have selected. How can I arrange for a singular snippet of the same event up to 5 minutes rather than a multitude of snippets of the same event? I have reviewed : ( (sorry HTML can not be posted). Here again the icons that are indicated (such as the pencil) are not available? Why? How to correct?
  4. The numeric number of events shown on the mobile app remain although I have deleted those events from my feed. This becomes more persistent in the late afternoon, early evening hours? How to correct?
  5. Although I have finally successfully invited friends to join my system for viewing, they are informed no cameras exist after they successfully create an account? Why? How to correct?

I'm trying to control alerts re animals and info I find online has not been helpful. I'm running on iPhone & MacBook. I have been referred to “Arlo smart”. I'm unable to locate "Arlo Smart" either in the iOS app for the iPhone or the my.arlo.com?   Where should I be able to locate Arlo Smart to manage my alerts on either device?

I've ran into the same thing recently... go to delete something and it won't delete. Yesterday I found that I could delete vids recorded yesterday, but not from the night before. They wouldn't disappear.

  Then, I got to looking and found a way to clear out the entire contents of the library/feed.  If you look around you can find my post with the steps you need to follow to get rid of all of them at once.  Look for the discussion titled "deleting feed" in this Arlo Secure discussion page.

  Anyhow.... a few times since then, when I'd mass delete... the vid thumbnails would still show up on the "feed", but the vid's themselves weren't actually there. I'd "refresh" my phone screen and the thumbnails would disappear.  I'm using an Android type phone.

Got it done thank you. I'm using an iPhone so it required and extra step but it worked. The images you posted are very, very helpful. Again, thank you.
